Welcome to the Foxton Trust web site

The Foxton Dispensary Trust is a U.K. registered charity committed to supporting the sick, disabled and infirm.

Originally set up to dispense medication in the late 19th century, the Trust now provides material assistance to the residents of Blackpool Borough and Poulton-le-Fylde in Lancashire. This restriction was defined in the original bequest by Mrs Catherine Dauntsey Foxton in her legacy.

Applications to the Trust for assistance are submitted by referral. These can be by GPs, Health Visitors, Social Services, Housing Associations or similar professional bodies. This site facilitates online applications, but visitors are encouraged to view the information pages before applying.

Once an application is received by the Charity's Clerk, it is allocated to one of six Trustees who will visit the applicant. Any recommended assistance is then agreed with another Trustee before referring the case back to the Clerk. The Clerk then administers the recommendation.
